SFF news

Sine Fine Films is making a new movie!  On December 27th, SFF will begin filming TWISTED TALES, a collection of short films that will take traditional fairy tales and redo them with a twist.  More information will be posted as it becomes available.  If you are a SFF member and would like to be part of this, please contact us.

Very sad news: one of the members of SFF has recently passed away. Marilyn Whalen was a wonderful woman and a great actress. She played the role of Mordecai’s Manager in Eidolon. She will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace, Marilyn. Condolences to her family, including SFF members Brittany Whalen-Meyer and Kevin Meyer.

SFF founder, executive producer, and all around cat-herder Eleanore Stasheff has started her own freelance videography service, More Than Words Videography. She specializes in wedding videos, but can create any number of memorable videos, including promotional spots, photo montages, and customized DVDs. Don’t have enough money to fly her out to your special event? She’ll even take your raw footage and edit it into a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind memento. Check it out. Even if you’re not in the market for a videographer right now, the demo videos are a joy to watch.

This is a bit of a belated announcement (and that is all my – the webmaster’s – fault, by the way), but SFF’s own Annamarie MacLeod, founding member and actress in the most SFF productions, stars in a very funny web series, EXIT Stage Left. All the episodes are now online – check it out!

Happy 10th Birthday to Mind Games!

In July of 1998 we started filming Mind Games and on June 15, 1999 it premiered to the public at the Staerkel Planetarium in Champaign, IL. It was a ground-breaking movie for SFF because of its use of lighting, camera angles, unique sets, and good direction from Edward and Eleanore Stasheff.

To celebrate, we’ve added an all new Mind Games photo album, a newspaper article about the 1999 premier in the Press section, and a new anniversary poster by Eleanore Stasheff.

Hats off to one of SFF’s best films!

SFF turns 13 today! (And check out the sneak preview of the Quatrain poster!)
